When to book

What happens in the appointment
- The GP looks at the rash in good light, including hidden areas if relevant.
- They decide if this is infection, allergy, eczema, or something that needs a dermatologist.
- You may leave with a cream, an antibiotic, a steroid plan, or a referral letter.
Clinic, online, or at home

After you leave
Use the treatment as explained. If redness spreads despite treatment, or you become feverish, that is same-day care again or NHS urgent care. Mole clinics and dermatology lists sit with the sister clinic when you need them.
