GP and clinician visits

Online GP

A video appointment with a private GP, from £50.

From £50

Online GP consultation from home

This is not an emergency service. If someone has chest pain, stroke signs, severe breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding or collapse, call 999 or go to A&E. We work alongside the NHS, not instead of it.

About this service

An online GP appointment is a private video consultation. It suits advice, prescriptions, results and many follow-ups. It is not the right setting for an examination that needs hands-on assessment, and it is never the right place for emergency symptoms.

Is this right for me?

  • You need advice or a prescription and can join a video call
  • You live further from Lurgan and want a first conversation today
  • A parent wants a clinician to speak with them without travel

Working alongside your NHS team

We do not replace your NHS GP, district nurse, consultant or A&E. We add private capacity at home. If you already have an NHS package, tell us so we do not duplicate or confuse the plan.

What we help with

  • Prescription requests
  • Review of recent symptoms that are not emergencies
  • Sick notes and some referral letters
  • Signposting to a clinic or home visit

What happens during the visit

  • You join a secure video link
  • The GP takes a history and looks at anything you can show on camera
  • You agree a plan and any paperwork

What is included

  • Video consultation
  • Clinical notes
  • Private prescription or letter if clinically appropriate

Who delivers your care

A GMC-registered GP.

Pricing

From-price for a standard online consultation. Prescriptions and letters may carry an extra fee, confirmed first.

After your visit

If the GP decides you need to be seen in person, we book a clinic slot or a home visit. We will not stretch a video call past what is safe.

Where we cover

Home visits across Lurgan, Craigavon, Portadown and Banbridge as core cover, with Lisburn, Armagh, Dungannon and Belfast arranged with a travel note. Call with a postcode and we will confirm. A family member can book if the patient consents to be seen.

FAQs

Can an online GP issue a prescription?

Often yes, when it is clinically appropriate. Private prescriptions are paid at the pharmacy. Some medicines cannot be issued remotely.
