Personal and live-in care
Personal care
Help with washing, dressing and the start or end of the day.
From £32/hour
This is not an emergency service. If someone has chest pain, stroke signs, severe breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding or collapse, call 999 or go to A&E. We work alongside the NHS, not instead of it.
About this service
Personal care is help with the private jobs of the day: washing, dressing, toileting, meals. It is often what the worried adult child is actually trying to arrange. Visits can be short and regular, or part of a wider nursing and GP plan.
Is this right for me?
- A parent who is managing but needs a morning or evening visit
- Someone home from hospital who is not yet independent
- A stop-gap while you decide on live-in care
Working alongside your NHS team
We do not replace your NHS GP, district nurse, consultant or A&E. We add private capacity at home. If you already have an NHS package, tell us so we do not duplicate or confuse the plan.
What we help with
- Personal hygiene
- Dressing
- Simple meals
- Companionship during the visit
What happens during the visit
- Arrive, wash and dress as agreed
- Leave the person comfortable and the family informed
What is included
- Carer visit
- Notes for the family
Who delivers your care
AccessNI-checked care staff. Nursing tasks stay with nurses.
Pricing
Indicative from-price per hour. Minimum visit lengths apply. A weekly plan is quoted after a needs conversation.
After your visit
If needs rise, we talk about overnight or live-in rather than stacking too many short visits.
Where we cover
Home visits across Lurgan, Craigavon, Portadown and Banbridge as core cover, with Lisburn, Armagh, Dungannon and Belfast arranged with a travel note. Call with a postcode and we will confirm. A family member can book if the patient consents to be seen.
FAQs
Is this the same as a home-help from the Trust?
No. This is a private arrangement. Keep any Trust package you have. We can avoid clashing times if you tell us the rota.
