Personal and live-in care

Overnight care

A carer in the house through the night.

From £180/night

This is not an emergency service. If someone has chest pain, stroke signs, severe breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding or collapse, call 999 or go to A&E. We work alongside the NHS, not instead of it.

About this service

Overnight care is for the hours when families are most frightened: a parent who wanders, a recent discharge, or a palliative night. We agree whether the carer is waking or sleeping. We do not pretend a sleeping night is a waking night.

Is this right for me?

  • Nights that have become unsafe
  • A short block after hospital
  • Respite for a family carer

Working alongside your NHS team

We do not replace your NHS GP, district nurse, consultant or A&E. We add private capacity at home. If you already have an NHS package, tell us so we do not duplicate or confuse the plan.

Pricing

From-price for a night. Waking nights and sleeping nights are quoted differently.

After your visit

A run of nights is often more useful than a one-off. We will say if live-in would be kinder.

Where we cover

Home visits across Lurgan, Craigavon, Portadown and Banbridge as core cover, with Lisburn, Armagh, Dungannon and Belfast arranged with a travel note. Call with a postcode and we will confirm. A family member can book if the patient consents to be seen.

FAQs

What is the difference between a waking night and a sleeping night?

A waking night means the carer stays up. A sleeping night means they sleep in the house and get up if needed. Prices differ because the work differs.
