Parkinson’s support at home

Nursing, therapy and care timed around Parkinson’s medication and routine.

From £175

This is not an emergency service. If someone has chest pain, stroke signs, severe breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding or collapse, call 999 or go to A&E. We work alongside the NHS, not instead of it.

About this service

With Parkinson’s, timing is everything: medication on time, every time, and support that adapts as the condition changes. We coordinate nursing, physiotherapy and daily care around the medication schedule and the person’s own routine, adjusting the plan as needs evolve.

Who it is for

People living with Parkinson’s at every stage, and the families supporting them, from early monitoring through to fuller care at home.

Is this right for me?

  • Medication timing at home is slipping
  • Freezing, falls or stiffness are getting in the way
  • You want one team that talks to each other

Working alongside your NHS team

We do not replace your NHS GP, district nurse, consultant or A&E. We add private capacity at home. If you already have an NHS package, tell us so we do not duplicate or confuse the plan.

What we help with

  • Medication timing support
  • Mobility, balance and freezing
  • Personal care that does not fight the routine
  • Falls prevention

What happens during the visit

  • Review of the day as it actually runs, not the ideal day
  • Nursing or therapy input as agreed
  • A plan the family can follow between visits

What is included

  • Medication support with attention to timing
  • Regular nursing reviews tracking symptoms and side-effects
  • Physiotherapy for mobility, balance and freezing where agreed
  • Personal care and practical support as needs change
  • Family education and regular plan reviews

Who delivers your care

Nurses, physiotherapists and carers working to one plan, with GP input when medicines or an acute illness need a doctor.

Pricing

From-price for a clinician home visit. Ongoing packages are quoted after we understand the routine and the medication timing.

After your visit

Keep your NHS Parkinson’s nurse and consultant in the loop. We add hands and time at home. We do not take over specialist prescribing without agreement.

Where we cover

Home visits across Lurgan, Craigavon, Portadown and Banbridge as core cover, with Lisburn, Armagh, Dungannon and Belfast arranged with a travel note. Call with a postcode and we will confirm. A family member can book if the patient consents to be seen.

FAQs

Do you change Parkinson’s medicines?

Not casually. Timing support and a GP review are common. Specialist dose changes stay with the team that knows the long-term plan, unless we are asked to help in a defined way.
